Oak Aged Foreign-style Stout. A strong stout from a recipe by Chris Vest, aka Krisbierjaeger, winner of the Osiris Snodown Homebrewing Competition, brewed specifically for the Pro-Am Category of the Great American Beer Festival. Aromas of coffee, earthy hops, alcohol and a hint of smoke jump from the smooth blackness of this complex stout. For such a strong stout, the light body makes for a surprisingly quaffable brew.

Massive Roasty nose with some coffee, Chocolate and some sour fruit.. Pours a nice medium black with a good tan head and plenty of lacing. Fantastic carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium body but a very silky beer that is amazing. Taste of Chocolate, Coffee, Believe it or not(although there is none in there).. Merlot or some type of red wine and some hops. Could use a bit more age in oak to it but a fantastic offering from a very cool idea.
