after the rather tasty pale ale these guys have, this one was a flat out letdown. a bit on the boring side, faded hops, too dark and too much malt. came in at the same time as the pale, but tastes old. as is, not hoppy wnough for an english.

Tasted at the 2005 Bistro IPA festival. Medium gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and floral. Good balance. Smooth taste. Nice drinkable IPA. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
