Dark brown colour with ruby highlights, a big frothy-creamy mocha-coloured head, good stay and leaving some nice creamy lacing. Chocolate malt nose over the roasted malts, maybe hints of coffee, but a touch more vanilla. The roasted barley base shows some sweetness with the chocolate notes, and some decent nuttiness. Smooth mouthfeel with decent dryness in the end. The coffee is a little felt lingering, but not up in there. Not a bad chocolaty, stronger stout.

Rich aroma features smoky malt, licorice, roast quality coffee and chocolate tones plus a snip of molasses. It pours luscious coffee-sable with a thick and persistent tan head. Flavor delivers roast malt, quality coffee, semi-sweet chocolate, molasses, and hints of licorice and smoke. Velvety smooth mouthfeel features firm, viscous body and fair fizz. Dream on!
