this was )i think) my first ever pumpkin stout, and i like both styles. after having it, it'd almost be better in the spiced ale catergory...the pumpkin spices so dominated the stout. part of that due to it being served on nitro, so the stout was subdued. my jaw dropped when the waiter said it was 11%. hidden incredibly well to say the least. smooth, full bodied for NO2 beer. aroma and flavor dominated by all spice and pumpkin. i wish the stout was more prevelant, but it is what it is. it was still quite enjoyable as a stand alone or desert beer. coulda been phenomenal though.
