The Belgians have been adding fruit to their brews for centuries. And those people make some of the best and most interesting beers in the world. This is not an effort to make lambic style beer; it is just a tribute which yields a refreshing and flavorful ale.

i'm not a huge lambic fan, although i like the good'uns. I'm not a big "fruity" beer fan either, but the belgian styles usually do it better than say, an american wheat with berry or apricot. anyway, this one was done well enough. nice balance between the funky yeast and the fruit. worth a try if not spectacular.
