depending on one's mood, this is as good, or even better than Hoptimum, which is a great iipa. Dont worry - i had em side by side to be sure, liver be damned! This one has my favorite hop, CITRA, among the 4 varieties. Side by side this beer looks almost lager yellow, but beats Hoptimum in overall aroma (pungent floral and citrus hops) and flavor (a little sweet, more hoppy than Hoptimum w/o being as bitter, and at 8.4, doesn't show as much alcohol. Hoptimum is a bit more complex with it's malt profile, so I'll call it a wash.
