Celebrating a possible move to Tennessee by Sierra Nevada, Celebrating Craft Beer Week, Celebrating my wedding Anniversary. Good beer to Celebrate with: lightly murky copper pour with an initially medium-sized cream colored head which reduces to a 1/4" sustained cap leaving copious amounts of lacing. Hoppy grapefruit, peachy and earthy aroma upfront, with a bit of alcohol, slightly woodsy, richly enhanced with a touch of sweetness and honey. Big flavor with the peach-grapefruit-slight pine hops coming through initially, warming whiskey-like alcohol presence, a bit of ripe fruit sweetness and earthy oak. Very nice blend of some of my favorite beers; wish list item I was very glad to find - well done Sierra Nevada, well done.

This beer poured a light brown/burgundy/amber color. It kind of even has some purple tints. An off white, creamy, luscious looking head with very nice size and some real nice lacing. The head settled to a near perfect film across the top that lasted the duration of the beer. The aroma was more of a subtle grapefruit citrus at first with a very slight sweet grape tone. A very minor hint of booze. Smells sweet and balanced. A bit piny and resiny. Hints of sweet caramel. Smells floral and fresh. A very subtle woody tone. A touch of Bourbon hides in the back. The taste brought out a very prevalent grapefruit citrus and bitterness. Wonderfull!!! A welcome deep warmth, however the alcohol "taste" was barely detected. A bit of a woody tone comes through in the taste. It's balanced superbly and the complexity is outstanding. A perfect amount of hop bite. Medium mouthfeel. Crisp, dry, smooth. Plenty of flavor left on the palate begging for another sip. Carbonation was near perfect. Coats the throat and roof of the mouth evenly and delectable. What a beer. Superb in several categories. Easily drinkable. I should have picked up two bottles. As the beer warmed, the aromas and flavor started to become more defined and pronounced.

I hate to say it but I am a little disappointed with this. Don't get me wrong, it is a top-notch beer but I expected a little more than I got considering it is a blend of 3 great beers. Best compared to the regular Bigfoot but with less harshness and more fresh hop flavor and aroma. High alcohol content is well masked (dangerously so) and the beer is very smooth. If it weren't so expensive, I would happily drink this on a regular basis.

750ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber brown with a huge light tan head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is a bit subdued - sweet caramel malts, some fruit, some wood, and resiny hops with a little fusel alcohol.
The flavor is sweet caramel malts, some fruits, and some harsh alcohol with a decent resiny bitter finish that lingers in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a decent a big beer. It’s very drinkable and grew on me as I went through the bottle. -

Kind of a big foot only better in so many ways. Hops hots and more hops yet smooth and drinkable. Really huge big beer but tame all the same. I really enjoyed this one and will be looking for more.

Bought this for my brother...I'll share the DFH Pangaea he bought for me when he comes back in a couple of weeks. The Bigfoot flavors are really prevalent here, with some slight hints of oak. Classic SN citrus hop finish. There were some chocolate notes in there too. Dark reddish color with a thin head. I don't really taste the pale ale here, but I'm not surprised that it was buried under the other beers it is blended with. A delicious beer. Really happy that my brother saw fit to share this with me; ahhh, family.

Not what i was expecting, upon reading the brewers description above it made alot more sense. Wonderful citrus, floral hop aromas, with some earth and rich malts. Appearance was a deep reddish hue with a nice frothy cap. Flavor features more of a sweet malty backbone with the slightly spicy citrus and floral hops middle and finish. Overall a very nice blend of some good beers, it is certainly worth trying.

Can't get enough of these 30 ann. beers from SN! Beautiful, beautiful taste. Colour is this illuminating mahogany colour with a two finger sized white head. Big and bold, fruit forward, hop nonsense- very intense flavours coming through. Aroma is fresh, dank, and sweet scented. Mouthfeel is so full, well carbonated and just amazing. One of my favorite SN brews I've had so far.

dark orange, almost red. big fluffy head. very aromatic...mostly a sh--load of hops, but some sweet malt and oak in there if you try really hard. i am pretty impressed with the anniversary lineup...they are among my favorite SN beers. big juicy beer, hoppy and bitter, floral, with a lasting aftertaste. Does taste a little like the pale, but trust me...just a little. This is a big boy. smoother than the initial onslaught of hops in the aroma would have you beleive.

Wow, I'm the first to review an American beer. Wow! On to the beer. The beer is clear, reddish-gold in colour, with a generous head. Aroma is primarily citrusy hops, with some sweet malt, and spices as well. The flavour with mainly malty with a nice citrus hop finish. A very good beer.
