Resilience Butte County Proud IPA is an India Pale Ale brewed as a fundraiser beer for the Camp Fire Relief in collaboration with breweries and suppliers around the country. Copper in color with a white head, the nose is a blend of floral notes, hints of caramel, and citrus. Leading with a malty backbone, flavors of caramel blend with grapefruit citrus. Well-balanced and medium-bodied, Resilience finishes dry and slightly bitter. The Camp Fire in California this fall was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history. In the days following the fire, Sierra Nevada contacted us and breweries around the country to collectively brew Resilience Butte County Proud IPA as a fundraiser beer for the Camp Fire relief. 100% of the sales of this beer will be donated to the Sierra Nevada Camp Fire Relief Fund, aimed at long-term community rebuilding support. Together as an industry, suppliers donated ingredients, breweries donated time and labor, and wholesalers and retailers of Sierra Nevada will be carrying the beer for free. More than 1,400 breweries signed up to brew Resilience. On December 20th, 2018 breweries across the country will be tapping the beer for Resilience Night.
