Northern Michigan spiced wheat ale. A 50% mixture of premium two-row malted barley and malted white wheat makes this gorgeous golden beer balanced to support bold spiciness. This ale is loaded with fresh citrus zest, coriander, and a four pepper blend. So extremely satisfying you would think it was the finest beer ever made!

12oz bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold with a smallish white head that quickly diminishes to a thin film.
The aroma is wheaty malt, lemon and some perfumey soap.
The flavor is a bit odd - kind of a medicinal fruity disinfectant. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied
. Overall, I didn't care for this. It tasted more like something I should clean my house with instead of beer. -

355 ml bottle, shared with OleR at Olympen, Oslo. American Wheat Ale with orange zest, lemon zest, coriander and peppercorns. Hazy golden colour, low white head. Sourish bread dough aroma, also hints of citrus and coriander. Sourish (house character?) flavour with notes of citrus. Could use more coriander, and definitely more hops.

Shared by a friend quite some time ago. Great name, yet an over spiced jumble of a pinch of this along with a sprinkle of that. I'm not opposed to spices in beers, but damnit show some restraint and balance.////////////// Recently sampled again while up in Michigan and I was much more impressed this time around. So much so that I brought some back with me. Upfront peppercorn, lemon, wheat, orange and then some more. Pale golden yellow with a nice white head and lacing. Light, dry and overall refreshing. Better balance with the assertive spices this time, and much more floral.
