One of our classics, this Floyd version of an old-world Altbier includes heirloom flint corn grown by the brewery. Top fermented with our ale yeast, but cold lagered for a smooth, crisp drinkability.

I picked this beer up at a local bottle shop in Roanoke. This beer was quite nice. It was probably one of the heaviest lager I have ever had - to the point of feeling more like an ale. In any event, this beer is red and bold and well hopped. I would have it again - way to go Shooting Creek!
