pours a light coppery color, with a little head that quickly disappears. It has a nice aroma of nuts and roasted malts. The taste is that of light toasted malts with a lightly hops bitter finish.

The palest altbier I have seen in a long time, more of a gold colour with reddish hues than a copper beer. Aroma is very malty with a decent floral hop nose. Some caramel sweetness in the malt flavour profile while the hoppish notes are hidden to the absolute end.

A style that I am not very familiar with, but its not too shabby. Aromas of sweet malt, a little nutty, and caramel. Rich copper body, head disappears quickly, and it leaves no lace. Flavor is about the same as the aroma with a touch of bitterness, and a dry finish. Overall a decent brew, better than a lot of other Shiner beers.

The last one from the Family Reunion 6-pack that I had not previously tried... good, not great. Aroma is very light malty sweetness. Medium bodied, thin head and light lacing. Flavor is more malty sweetness with a hint of hops. Nothing was really pronounced in this beer, although it was well-balanced.

It pours a light copper with a thick and foamy white head and plenty of lace. An aroma of caramel malts, hops, bread and yeast, bitterness, light grass, and spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, citrus, bread and yeast, and spices. Very good!

Another Shiner from Suds: clear light copper pour with a thinning white head and light lacing. Nice understated aromas of lightly toasted malts, nuts, a touch of oak, some hops. Taste is very much like the nose - medium bodied, light toasted malts, light hops bitter. Another good beer from Shiner, another good beer from Suds - Thanks bro.

I was actually quite surprised with this, never really being a Shiner fan, this was actually pretty good .. . simple aspects of molasses, bark cocoa, light toasted malt, and nuts .. . an easy drinker .. . I quit my job at the helium factory ..i will not be spoken to in that tone of voice.
