    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

500 ml capped bottle. Poured in a Bavarian Seidla a clear and ruby-brown coloured Dunkles with a one finger dense, fine, creamy and beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, notes of caramel and chocolate, and a barnyard touch. The flavour is roasted and sweety malts, some brown sugar, caramel, flowery, violets and a ashy touch. The mouthfeel is creamy and light syrupy. The texture is watery. This light to medium bodied Dunkles has a dry roasted malts finish. Easy drinkable, well flavoured, a pleasant Dunkles from Aschaffenburg, not far away from Frankfurt am Main, but ... in Bayern !
