(Bottle). Theoretically I might encounter a better Weizen than this one, but I doubt very much that will ever happen. Murky brown colour, large head, aroma of Paradise: Cloves and other undefinable spices, dried fruits (figs), oak and sandalwood. Oaky cloves flavour with hints of burnt caramel. Alcohol is present, but not overwhelmingly so. Dry aftertaste. This is a thoroughly well made beer! (Thanks, joss!)

Absolutely wonderful in every sense. ark brown pour with tons of creamy head that looks like the head on a coke float..I have always been a fan of SChneider & Son, and this beer lives up to all my expectations. The alcohol stays politely in the background, yet sends that warming fire down to your tummy. The aroma...plums? possibly..the malts and hops balanced to absolute perfection. I know I am gushing, but this is just a beautiful beer. Balance, symmetry and substance come to mind. I wish I could share it with all of you and watch your smiles..The head isnt' leaving much lacing . It isnt a sticky beer, yet the head remains as I drain the last of the glass. THank God I got two. ( at ,90 e..dont you hate me? ) Do try this one.
