Cloudy orange yellow with fast dissapearing foam head, so fast couln’t tell color. Aroma is weak barley, taste is not what the bottle promisses, very little taste. Similas weak aftertaste. (Velp 201210)

Was unaware that there was a difference between the two Nessie's. The pre-2008 being a Scottish style ale (makes the name have some sense to it) and the post-2007 being a smoked beer. The original is better than it's successor. This beer is clear, copper coloured, with a tan head. The aroma is burnt wood, pizza crust, and floral hops. The flavour is bland with none of the smokiness or pizza flavours coming through.

Bottled@Monks Cafe Wallingatan, Stockholm. Reddish ambery brown colour with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts along with some fudge and mild berryish and smoked wet wooden notes. Flavour is quite much the same. A very mildly smoked beer...
