2009 edition, actually is a Baltic porter. This is a very nice brew. Very creamy feel in the mouth. Tastes like a light stout. Aroma is very pleasant. Mouth feel is excellent. Perfect for those long cold nights sitting next to the fire. Will defiantly have again. Enjoyed everything from this brewery so far.

'08 version--Bock, 6% abv. Pours a dark red/brown with thin off-white head. Aroma is sweet with caramel and roasted malts. Creamy, thick mouthfeel. Taste is malty--hints of caramel and chocolate. Excellent! Would like to see this produced year-round. 2/22/12 - Enjoyed the 2011 wee-heavy last night. Sweet in aroma and taste with caramel, molasses and bready malts. Decent but not as good as previous editions (although better than the 2010 weizen doppelbock with the overwhelming banana flavor). 11/1/12 - Just picked up a sixer of the 2012 Biere de Noel version. This one starts off malty sweet with a bit of peppery yeast. Dries out nicely in the finish though with a bit of fruity tartness/bitterness. Should pair nicely with Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.

I can't remember what the style was last year, but this year it was a sweet stout. Dark pretty much black color, with a tan head. Kind of sweet, sorta like Sam Smiths out stout.

Great deep copper color. Apparently they have changed the label. A little malt and maybe must in the aroma. Bready and slightly sour flavors. A little strange for me.

Fairly rich amber color with a good head and durable lacing. Tart cherry/strawberry aroma with a cinnamon note. Just semisweet and crisp, caramel malt and orange in the flavor, slightly bitter and it finished dry.

Very good and has a warming effect to it. Not too strong and smooth tasting.

Amber color, moderate head, mild malt aroma. Beer is a little thin, nothing special, with a dryish finish that turns s bit smokey at the end. The smoke is more noticable as the beer warms.
