Witheer of Middelburg is produced on the base of a special historic recipe, which includes wheat and oatmalt, apart from the traditional barleymalts. These grains make the beer both tender and lively and the aromatic Spalt hop gives the beer a lightly bitter accent. Withers, this beer's name refers to the Norbertijneorde in 1127 the Abbey of Middleburg heelft founded. The canons of this order wore white companies and were therefore also with the honor named. The traditional malts along with wheat malt, this beer is soft and tasty drinking. It is a very tasteful drink beer by only 5% vol. alcohol. Available in bottles of 33 cl and 20 ltr drums.

Opaque golden yellow with white foam head. Aroma is light citrus, tastes light citrus, barley, light alcohol. Just a decent white beer from a brewer that knows to brew a good beer. (Velp 201401)

330 ml bottle, as a 5.0 % ABV. Poured a hazy golden yellow colored wit with a one finger slightly beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention. Many sediments. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is wheat malts, yeast, aciditic fruits, citrus. The flavour is wheat malts, biscuits, bready, fruity, grapefruit, spicy, peppery. The mouthfeel is creamy and like a milk-coffee ( ! ). This medium bodied Wit has a slight spicy finish. An easy drinkable but not typical Wit.

Hazy pale yellowish orange colour with mediumsized longlasting white head. Caramel, wheat and coriander in the nose. Flavour is wheat, citrus fruit and some spices. Good witbier to drench your thirst with.
