It is a reddish-brown with lacing light brown lasting foam head. Aroma of toasted bread and a rounded, caramel malty taste. Good bock. (Velp 20141230)

330 ml capped bottle. Poured a slight gushing and unpasteurized cloudy dark brown-red coloured ale with a three fingers tan creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. A lot of floating sediments. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted malts and strong roasted coffee beans, mocha, dark bitter chocolate. The flavour is roasted and caramel malts, dark fruits, prunes, raisins, brown sugar, a light touch of spices, pepper. The mouthfeel is creamy, smooth and quite thin. This medium bodied ale has a dry malty finish. A noticeably better nose as the palate but overall a pleasant ale.

Bottle: Poured a deep clear brown color beer with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fruity ester with some sweet malt notes is really interesting and enjoyable. Taste is a mix between some sweet malt with some incredible fruity ester. Full creamy body with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Really interesting beer and some thing that makes me want to try more form this fine brewer.

Hazy reddish amber with large tan-coloured head. Yeasty and soapy aroma of nuts, caramel, fudge and almonds. Smooth yeasty flavour of nuts, brown and caramel. Long yeasty finish of nuts.

Bottled. Deep rubyish brown colour, with mediumsized brown head, which goes down to a firm small brown head quite fast. Aroma is caramel, yeast, some earth and slight toasted notes. Flavour is ryebread, some caramel malts and mild notes of roast. Quite nutty in the aftertaste.
