Brewed from pale and caramel malts and heavily hopped with Hersbracker and Saaz hops, this is a beer for the connoisseur, who does not shy away from a robust hoppiness. Its full, smooth flavor makes it an ideal session beer.

Hazy unfiltered golden yellow with thick white foam head. Quite bitter hop taste, tongue tickling through high carbon content. Lasting bitter to bittersweet after taste. A very good beer (Velp)

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.0%. Cloudy brownish yellow colour, huge white head. Very nice aroma of banana and spices (cloves, coriander e.a.), candisugar and Belgian yeast. The flavour is fairly sweet (maybe too much), fruity, spicy and yeasty. Moderate hops in the finish.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy beige/golden color ale with a huge foamy head with great retention and some good lacing. Aroma of dry Saaz hops with some typical medium sweet Belgian malt. Taste is also a well balance mix between some dry Saaz with some bitterness and some medium sweet Belgian malt. Great carbonation with full body due to medium filtration. Enjoyable but nothing earth shattering in here.

Bottled (7%). Hazy amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, malty, caramellish and overall quite sweetish. Flavour is sour fruits, yeast, caramel, nectar. Very sweet but the yeast and some hops does balance it up to a pleasant and drinkable level. Some spicy notes in finish and aftertaste. Biting carbonation. Well balanced and good session beer.

Hazy dark orange colour with a small white head. Sweet aroma of oranges, berries, caramel, spices and yeast. Malty and somewhat yeasty flavour of caramel, grass, berries and raisin with a long finish of grass, caramel and yeast.
