Victoria Falls AKA “smoke that thunders,” is the world’s largest waterfall. Scandal struck when a bungee jumper plunged into the crocodile infested waters below. A safer adventure is our Coffee Stout, blended with a special roast of African beans from Sumas Mountain Coffee. The difference between a classic stout and our coffee stout is we are using real coffee instead of roasted malt. This fifth installment of the 7 Natural Wonders of the Beer World is a smooth and enticing coffee stout but watch out for the 8% cliff! Tasting Notes Our Victoria Falls Coffee Stout get it’s exotic flavour from a blend of Ethiopian Sidamo coffee beans, valued for their deep chocolate-like flavor and floral aroma, along with Harar, one of the oldest coffee beans with distinctive fruity wine flavors. Much like making espresso, the heat contact time of the coffee ground is only a couple of minutes. The main malts are English style pale and chocolate malt, German crystal malt and Canadian honey malt, with a nice dose of German hops. And what would the falls be without our amazing untreated spring water.
