Made from 100% traditional Normandy cider apples (5 varieties) grown and harvested near the Chateau de Sassy. An extra-dry farmhouse style cidre with a rustic but clean nose. This hand-crafted recipe was inherited from the cidre served at the Château de Sassy for generations. Best enjoyed alongside strong meat, charcuterie and cheese.

330 ml bottle, as Sassy Cidre Small Batch, Batch No. 02, year 2022, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. Moderately hazy golden colour, pours vigorously sparkling with a large white head that actually lasts a while. Pleasant aroma of cider apples, a hint of oak and sulphites. Medium sweet flavour of apples and oak, a hint of sulphites again. A very good cider.
