Pours clear yellow with a quickly-vanishing off-white head. Aroma presents shy fresh malt - not much else. Flavor features wan malt with a hint of fruit. Texture provides so-so body and fizz. Well, it's another rating.

Not bad with sushi :) Can that be all? Actually, per style, it really wasn't bad, I'm just not a light ale kinda guy, except for the hoppy session ipas that have been popping up recently. This is a reasonable quality light lager...lawnmower beer at best...though I'd still prefer All Day IPA.

pours a clear, pale straw color with a small white head with little lacing. The aroma is definitely heavy on the rice and with a strong adjunct aroma and very little malt or hops to it and some light skunk. Almost all rice. The taste is slightly tangy, with lots of rice and a hint of white grape, grass, and a light vegetal character. The mouthfeel is very light in body with a medium level of carbonation.

Another afternoon venture...nothing lost. A bright yellow colored beer with a medium sized creamy textured, white head. No hang time here. Settles into a very thin ringlet. Skunky sweet corn nose. Light, bubbly body. Grassy hops and sweet corn. Another Japanese copy, this time of something really bad.

Sampled on 4/6/2009. This Pale Lager/light lager pours a medium yellow gd color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head, no much retention or lacing. The aroma is grain and cereal, touch of hops. A light to medium bodied light beer. The malts are cereal and grainy. The hops are slightly spicy. It’s a fizzy yellow light beer. Lively carbonation. Kind of mild and nothing really offensive. Not much flavor either. Of course I am going to finish drinking it before it warms up too much more. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Had with Saucebox at Tokyo Bowl (alaska,rockN,houston,___) ...Pours a standard yellow with a lower than average head... smell is of faint hops and grain ... taste is surprisingly full for a light, has some grain tastes but nice actually... One of the nicer light beers out there...

Hey!!! What's up with the low reviews??? This stuff is not that bad. If you like Sapporo (and I do) then you'll love (OK, you'll choke down) this stuff. It's not that bad. Crisp, clear and not that much taste. It's OK for a light beer. Really, it is.

I really liked this beer! Just got hold of a six pack today, finally, and was really impressed. While there was not a whole lot of flavor to it and the color was quite pale, it did seem to be satisfying overall. But in the end it just tasted like a very expensive Bud Dry..

pale pale light yellow color. smells like aluminum and corn and it isnt in a can. Tastes like american generic swill shit, just like the inside of a aluminum can of creamed corn. if your going to taste like shit at least have a cool name.

Wow first rating of this "beer" and beer #1 to kick off noog fest weekend. Light yellow color.Smells like cabbage. The flavor is quite crisp with some hay. Hay is for horses. Ive had worse light beers but overall this is not worth the time.
