Had about the same color as maple syrup and the aroma of molasses . It seemed to have a wisp of clover or nutmeg not sure which. Over all a pretty decent beer that's worth trying again.

pretty decent food beer - light roast, chocolate, and a hint of coffee and hops. Fairly straight forward, bordering on generic, but good for a mexi lager. i'd drink again, but not buy again.

Pours a black color. Smell is of roasted malts, some chocolate. Taste is the same, lots of roasted malts and some chocolate. Overall a flavorful and enjoyable beer.

pours a nice dark brown, with nice khaki head which disappears at a quickly pace leaving minor spots of wispy lacing. The aroma is sweet caramel malts, sweet bready notes, and a bit of raisin. The taste starts with a toffee malt sweetness. Raisin flavoring holds through with a caramel malt presence. Sweetness is a touch cloying. The mouthfeel is lighter side of medium body with medium carbonation.

It pours a very dark brown and red with a thick light-tan head and some lacing residue. An aroma of black cherries, root beer, roasted malts, light beer funk, oranges, light hops, raisin and date, light cinnamon and spices. The mouthfeel is slightly thin, but smooth. Flavors of roasted malts, light hops, citrus, coffee, light chocolate, light root beer, some black cherry, raisin, and light cinnamon and spices. I'm impressed .. this has to be one of the top beer producers in the orient.

Another pleasant little surprise in life. Pours fairly dark brown with a moderate tan head. Slightly sweet kind of like some English brown ales. Pleasant caramel undertones and a pretty decent price.

A deep reddish-brown beer. A small tannish, frothy textured head rises and disappears fairly quickly. The lacing is a thin soapy ringlet. There’s a creaminess on first sip. A full bodied beer. Roasted malt, coffee notes in the nose. The flavoring is roasted malt, sweet. A hint of citrus there to balance ever so slighly. Not a bad dunkle.

Poured a very dark brown that you could almost see through, and a very thick tan head that went away quickly, but left quite a bit on the glass. Taste was nutty chocolate, and fortunately for me lacked any coffee overtones.

some roasting aromas ... looks like hour old coca cola ... some decent flavours in this dark lager, but a quite thin, i guess the hotter weather is made for this one ... smooth but needs more cowbell!

A dark almost black colour w/ reddish hues mixed throughout with very little head. The aroma is of toasted malts, brown sugar and plums. Burnt caramel with maple syrup drizzled on top, molasses and a bunch of spices thrown in the mix.
