Another draft from Saltwater's Anniversary party. In ordering this one I noted that "the monk and I were going to take a vacation". A mahogany-brown colored beer with a big frothy textured light tan head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. A persistent cap remains. This one in total profile is cranberries, cinnamon and nutmeg. The cranberries are the backbone note and a little disconcerting when trying to identify where the flavors are coming from. Once that is accomplished it becomes a flavor packed drink.
