330 ml swing-top bottle. Poured in the original Page 24 stemmed glass an unfiltered and hazy rich golden-amber coloured Tripel with a good one finger slight beige foamy head that had a mid-sized retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is light toasted malts and herbal hops. The flavour is solid toasted malts, caramel, aciditic fruits, green apples, oranges and a spicy touch, licorice. The mouthfeel is crispy, sparkling and fulled. This medium bodied Tripel has a dry malty finish. A nice brew from the Bogaert' s brothers in the Brasserie Saint Germain located near Béthune in the North of France.

750 ml swingtop bottle, new at Vinmonopolet. ABV is 7.9%. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy, large white head. Pleasant spicy aroma, also notes of oxidised fruit, hints of farmhouse. Rich mouthfeel. The medium sweet flavour is spicy and somewhat alcoholic, some fruit too. Tolerable hops in the aftertaste. Not a bad beer, will buy again.
