About what it is for the style. I like ESBs mainly for dinner pairing, but not really the style that I turn to for my random or everyday beer. They need to be well-balanced for me, which this is. Not too bitter, with just enough sweetness from the caramel malts to offset. Medium brown semi-clear appearance. Average and a little forgettable.
