The Nut Brown Ale is translucent with a wonderful ruby hue. The rich malty flavor is a balance of pale, chocolate and crystal malts. Traditional hopping is subdued and yet keeps the brew from being too sweet. A great fresh, clean malt aroma remains as the beer warms.

A nice ruby-hued brown color with a nice foamy brown head that dissipates quickly leaving faint lacing. The nose is sweet malt, chocolate and fruit. With a full mouthfeel and medium body, flavors are of lightly roasted malts with light hops providing good balance. The finish is clean and slightly bitter. This is perhaps the best of the marginal Rustic Rail brews.
