Honey Ale or "Mead" is often referred to as the Nectar of the Gods, or the drink of love. The word "honeymoon" originated with Pagan wedding celebrations where the dancing and mead were non stop, sometimes for as long as an entire moon cycle. Mead was considered a beverage that enhanced fertility, growth and especially the birth of a male child.

I thought this was a decent Miller style beer. I definately would not call this a mead in anyway, it had no sweetness, and lacked in honey flavor. but it had a nice bright golden body with a quickly dissipating head.
