Who is Old Man Hopper? He is a husband, a father, a grandfather, a friend to all. He is every American. He is a man who dedicated his life to his family and his job. He believed in an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay. He knew when to turn the other cheek and when to stand up for what is right and just. He lived the American Dream. No he spends his days in retirement enjoying watching his family grow and lending a hand to those in need. An every now and then he will find time to fish and maybe, just maybe, enjoy a pint or two of his IPA.

pours a nice hazy copper orange with small pure white head that rescinded to a tiny ring with almost no lacing. The aroma is all malt with a little hop bitterness at the end. The taste is spot on with the aroma, with sweet malts and no hop bitterness to be found. The mouthfeel is average with a considerable amount of carbonation and coating on the tongue.

Caught between an APA & IPA, we were informed this new batch had been toned down a bit with the hops in order to make it more approachable. Very nice and clean with a mild citrus hop nose and evergreen flavor. Pale malt keeps the balance, but lets the hops dominate. Easy drinking and medium bodied, very good but nothing outstanding.
