I had this beer as part of a 14 beer sampler at the Russian River Brew Pub on 14 July 2011. Wit beers aren't my favorite style but this was a nice beer. I would have this again but only if it was offered at a place other than Russian River - too many other superior choices.

for me and a couple others at RR last weekend, this one was a slight miss. Wits aren't my favorite style to begin with, and this one doesn't have enough of the coriander/orange peel/spice to be really refreshing. the yeast was overdone in both the aroma and flavor. My least favorite RR beer.

This beer was poured from tap at O’Brian’s in San Diego. Light gold color, very cloudy. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrusy, yeasty, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied wit. Malts are citrusy and fruity, lemon grass. Bright yeasts. Light and refreshing. A very nice Wit. I could drink this one all a long warm summer afternoon. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

on tap at hollingshead deli, orange ca this has the normal witbier appearance: cloudy yellow, white head The flavor is crisp, but the finish isn’t, which was a little disappointing. It’s a nice white, but not great

This wit pours with a pale cloudy yellow body topped by a thick white head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is yeasty, slightly bitter and sour with a touch of lemon. The flavor is slightly bitter, yeasty and a touch sour with a slight lemon grass note. Light bodied, crisp and msooth with a very slight dryness.
