LIMITED RELEASE Hop Therapy Double IPA is the newest single-batch brew in the Russell Brewmaster Series. As a beer style, a Double IPA is designed to showcase the hops. We've used a massive amount of 100% American hops including: Amarillo, Cascade and Columbus. For this batch, we had six hop additions in the brew kettle and two rounds of dry hopping to finish. At 100 IBU's, this beer is dry, strong and bitter. We hope you enjoy the clean bitterness, refreshing aroma and big hop flavour.

From Central City, in a bomber. 100 IBU's! That's almost enough, I think. Cloudy orange pour under a fluffy white head. Supreme aroma, like a Christmas tree there was such a powerful pine resin component along with a shitload of hops and some citrus to boot. Superior rich mouthfeel. Flavour: lots of pine, lots of hop, no shortage of citrus, and some malt. Wonderful all the way around.

Just showed up in Kamloops, and in two days it had almost disappeared! Glad I caught it, very malt forward, lots of raisin bread toast and sourdough and sweet bread and maybe a trace of aunt jemima syrup. Hops are slight tropical and sweet as well, but the salivation is purely bitter. Lightly lemon and the Amarillo comes through in the finish a bit. The best BC IPA tasted at time of writing!.... I think...
