This is a wonderful dunkelweizen with rich caramel and roasted banana notes. Brewed with roasted Rye gives this beer a great earthy spice that balances well with the sweet banana.

Lots of banana and clove along with toast, caramel, berries and dark fruits. Loaded with good flavors and an exceptional aroma. Medium bodied, sweet and smooth. Appearance is the wild card. The bottle I purchased was well over carbonated. The first few pours foamed considerably and strong continuous carnation remained after the body settled. Once settled though the beer looked lovely with a brown~amber body, big rocky head and thick lacing.
