As farmers and brewers we understand the importance of fresh ingredients. That's why our favorite time of year is harvest time, when the ingredients are their freshest and beer is just begging to be brewed. To make this beer, we cut down fresh Rogue Farms grown Centennial hops, load them into a truck and rush them posthaste over to our brewery on the coast. When the hops arrive, they go straight into the brew, still wet from the farm. The effort pays off in this hazy, fruity, wet-hop laden imperial IPA.

The beer pours a very hazed amber hued gold with a 1” off-white cap that lasts a long time. The aroma is light pine, grapefruit, caramel, herbal hops, and weak yeast. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is toffee, biscuit malt, and lots of fruit notes. The alcohol is a bit noticeable.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a massive frothing off-white head with some thick soapy lacing remaining and has a hazy orangey coloured appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of piney and grassy hops, some yeasty notes and a bit of cereal and bready malts. Flavours are quite fruit some melon notes, a little bit citrus, some biscuity malt notes, mild yeast and funk. Pretty easy drinking with very mild alcohol warmth on the palate. Pretty good!

Juicy smelling, but with some big hop nose. Quite hazy from the get-go, golden-amber colour with a warm cap, decent retention and foamy lacing. Mild caramel base aromas with some nice citrus notes and like mentioned, grassy, herbal hops. The taste is juicier with lots of oranges, pineapples and other tropical fruits. Slick, lightly oily mouthfeel. The hops are balanced for the flavours, adding a little zing, spiciness. This blends better with the sweetness. Very interesting, different juicy IIPA with an East Coast feel.

Taps opaque apricot with a thin parchment head. Aroma delivers woody hops, zesty tropical and citrus, fresh malt. Flavor provides woody hops, juicy tropical and citrus, fresh malt foundation. Texture features firm body, lively fizz, and a hoppy and fruity finish. Haste makes coasts - and toasts.
