amidst all their other good brews on the tap, this did nothing to make us take notice. not bad, just another standard entry into the american wheat beer catergory.

On tap at the Rock Bottom in Pittsburgh. Yes, this is unfiltered. Has that spicy weizen or wit bier aroma, heavy on the olfactory. Very attractive smells and appearance. My taste buds are watering before i even sip it. Lots of spice in this brew, revealed on the first taste. Clove, bandannas, coriander? Absolutely no bitterness can be detected, yummy. Simply delicious. Light, lovely and friendly. Hey I know I like this style but this is a pretty good sample! Good tingly carbonation that is common with this style, very nice. My favorite so far of all the rock bottom brews I’ve had. Fine example of a brewpub weizen. Would not hesitate to get this one again! Rates right up there with most of the good weizens I’ve tasted including Erdinger.
