Decent run of the mill IPA, more pale ale I would say but you can tell what they were after. Had this on tap in Milwaukee, cloudy orange beer with a citrus nose, though a mild nose, and a mild citrus and resin flavor. Easy to drink, though not as punchy as I like IPAs.

From the downtown San Diego location - deep copper-orange with a moderate head and decent lacing, requisite hoppy-piney-citrus-floral nose and flavor... but the flavor was pleasantly pronounced - not over-the-top bold, but very well done.

Rock Bottom produces a lot of beers. The IPA I had at Milwaukee was pretty nice for the hot day I was enjoying while on the patio. Crystal clear bright orange in my plastic glass. A faux glass pint that was uncomfortably light. Hoppy goodness immediately upon arrival. Citrus fruit, lemon grass- hard to ignore. BItter. I've had better. But nice nonetheless. Just had a lot of IPAs this weekend. Nice job Rock Bottom.
