Flappers have always been a symbol of change and rebellion, harkening to a time where challenging the norm was all the rage. This beer embraces and celebrates that vibrant, relentless spirit. Representing the rebirth of a brewery and the reclamation of a dream, this beer is a completely contradictory experience where the wort is soured, the hops are minimized and the beer is filtered to be brilliant. Crisp, delicate, cutting edge, complex and tart, pouring a bright citrine with a nose of gently soured rind fruit, this beer is exactly what is needed when looking for a little something…Divergent.

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Pours hazy yellow with a nice porcelain head. Aroma features tart fruit, fresh malt and funky tones. Flavor offers more malt, about as much tart pomme and tropical, and a little less funk than the aroma. Mouthfeel presents decent body and fair fizz. Diverge for it.

A murky gold colored beer with a small bubbly white head rising briefly above. There is no lacing left, but lots of bubbles rising in the body of the beer. The funky aroma is far more intense in the initial pour and seems to lose it's intensity when the beer is allowed to settle. There is a nice tartness to the tasting, and very effervescent on the tongue. But I am thinking there could be more to this one.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7
Pours a clear nigh-champagne gold, complete with the same level of fizzing. What white head forms vanishes swiftly, leaving almost no trace. The aroma is a light musty wheat. There are some very faint light fruit elements to the scent, but under the musty wheat. The taste is tart, salty, and funky, this puckers the tongue a little right from the start, and leaves a vaguely musty, salty aftertaste. Notes of sour white grape and green apple. The mouthfeel is light and well-carbonated.
