Belgian-Style Double IPA (100ish IBU, 9.0% ABV) This infamous brew is our Belgian spin on a typical American hop bomb. A copious amount of West Coast American hops are tempered by our house yeast strain, giving you the best of both continents. Beer Advocate Magazine recently rated this beer 90/100.

Definitely a Belgian leaning Belgian IPA...more yeasty and fruity than hoppy, though there is ample hops and bittering. Very dry and earthy with fruity blasts from both the yeast and the citrusy hops. A little funk, too. Very nice.

22 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with a medium meringue white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is some fruit, funky earthy yeast, and some light metallic hops.

The flavor is sweet sugary bready malts with some tropical fruits and earthy yeast and a good sized bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a pretty good Belgian IPA. Not my favorite style but this has decent balance of funk, fruit and bitterness.
