The brewmaster's special for the Christmas fish dishes is a fruity beer, developed to complement lighter Christmas dishes such as boiled cod, gravad and smoked fish, herring and turkey. The beer has a light smell of berries. The taste has a rounded caramel sweetness, fresh fruitiness from blueberries, a light bitterness with aromatic aftertaste from bog myrtle.

330 ml green bottle. Amber coloured, large off-white head. Weak aroma with hints of berries (incl. juniper berries?) and boiled vegetables. Flavour has very moderate malts and hops (and possibly bog myrtle), notes of caramel but not very sweet. Thin and faintly sourish mouthfeel. A very boring beer, but not offensive.
