500 ml swing-top bottle. Poured a hazy and burgundy-brown coloured Dunkel with a two fingers fine, dense and beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted malts and roasted coffee beans, caramel, toasted bread and dark riped fruits, plums, prunes. The flavour is sweety and toasted malts, caramel, grainy and cocoa powder, a light hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is creamy, quite thin and cocoa powder. The texture is watery. This light to medium bodied Dunkel has a roasted finish. Drinkable ? Anyway, but, for me, a Dunkel lacking of stuff and charm.
