The biggest and baddest IPA we've ever made, but with the satisfying drinkability of a Revolution beer. It may look and feel like a sessionable beer, but it ain't. Six hop varieties including tons of Galaxy infuse this giant IPA with flavors and aromas of pine, passion fruit, and citrus rind. With a surprisingly dry and crisp finish, this is the most drinkable imperial IPA you'll likely ever have. Drink it fresh.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Pours a clear copper color with a small, sudsy, eggshell colored head. Citrus, led by lemon and grapefruit with resinous pine lead the assault on my nose. The taste is similar to the smell. The pine leads, followed by lemon, grapefruit and a hint of spice. Sweet malt shows up toward the end, only to overpowered by the resinous pine, which lingers on my tongue for quite some time. Mouthfeel is a bit thicker than most IIPA's, which is a good thing. Here in the Midwest with many outstanding IIPA's from brewers like Three Floyds, Bell's, Founders and Surly, Revolution Brewing has definitely stepped up it's game. When I stopped in my liquor store the following week to pick up some more, there was none to be found. I'm hoping this is not a seasonable or one-off beer because I will definitely be revisiting if it becomes available. A hop bomb worth a try.
