Amarillo Hero, our newest member of the Hero League, showcases the hop's intense citrus and floral notes. A simple, delicate malt bill allows the fruit basket of aromas to take center stage while a touch of Citra and Mandarina layered in amplify this Hero’s juicy characteristics. Clean bitterness rounds this beer out resulting in a crisp, refreshing IPA.

Medium gold color with a foamy white head. Minimal lacing. Aromas of citrus and sweet malt. Flavors include, grapefruit (pith too), lemon, lime, sweet malt and a hint of hops. Bitter finish. Another beer in their Hero Series, which to me, has been a bit on the pedestrian side for me. A good beer, worth a try, but nothing really stands out. Personally, I think my love affair with IPA's is coming to close.
