A golden appearance with no head. A honey, white grape, and slight citrus aroma. The flavor is rather sweet and not very complex with some honey, apples, white grapes, and a slight alcohol presence. Overall it wasnt bad but probably not worth the price.

Pours light yellow with no head. Very sweet and wine tasting. If you can imagine wine that tastes like honey, this is it. Really good stuff but be careful because it is easy to drink.

This mead pours a perfectly clear, very pale straw yellow. No head, no carbonation. Light honey, a bit thin in complexity. Lightly floral. Easy going down.

750 ml bottle, dated 4/20/05. Pours a slightly cloudy dark yellow with no head.
The aroma is sweet honey and floral cloves.
The flavor is a little orange fruitiness, some spicy cloves and then sweet honey. It has some sharper acidic wine-like alcohol and a dry finish. The alcohol helps balance out the honey sweetness. The mouthfeel is thick and syrupy with no carbonation.
Overall, I liked it. I don't have much experience with meads but would like to try more. This was one of the ones I liked best at Redstone (other than the much more expensive reserves). A little expensive at $20 per 750ml. -

Clear golden body. Sweet aroma full of honey with a slight alcohol note. Sweet flavor with fresh honey notes. Smooth, light bodied and slightly dry with little carbonation.

GABF2004... Poured a pale gold color with no head (still). Sweet aroma with an element of cobwebs. The aroma confused me a bit. Sweet honey, with less complexity than the juniper honey wine.
