This Imperial Red IPA is an updated version of our second brew in the Rabbit’s Reserve series. Roasted Caramel malts impart a deep red hue as well as hints of toffee, caramel, and raisins. This malt-forward, subtle sweetness complements the intense hop bitterness of the CTZ, Chinook, Cascade, and Willamette hops, while the warming 9.4% ABV adds yet another level of complexity. The force is strong with this IIPA.

    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

Comes out of the growler gorgeous clear mahogany with a thick and rather persistent rich buff head. Strong aroma has woody hop and hay notes plus hints of caramel and citrus. Flavor has bold strokes of woody hops, sour citrus and toasty malt plus more than a hint of caramel. Firm texture has good fizz and leaves a nice woody hop finish. Yep, the hops are strong with this ’un!
