Comes out of tap clear, appetizing amber with a nice, fine-bubbled creamy buff head that leaves generous lacing. Aroma is not as hoppy as most IPAs I have sampled, but it has a good malty core and a hint of evergreen. Hops really come out in the flavor, though, along with caramel, citrus, and - could that be a hint of peppermint? Some situs sneaks through as well, Mandarin orange and a bit of grapefruit. Fairly firm texture has a nice lasting fizz. Equinox, hell - enjoy it any time of year!
