Red Hare introduces the second in our Rabbit’s Reserve Series, an Imperial Red India Pale Ale. This ruby-amber colored ale catches your eye with brilliant color. The aroma is sweet to hop lovers, a melody of pine and citrus resulting from a blend of four distinct hops including Columbus which adds a clean, long lasting hop flavor. Four malts including British Crystal Pale balance out the hop bitterness to create a great drinking experience. We tested the limits of our mash tun in creating this ale, using the maximum amount of malt without adding other fermentables.

Comes out of the tap an opaque mahogany brown with a thick, fine-bubbled, light tan head. Aroma is woody, hoppy and malty with hints of fruit and caramel. Luscious flavor has woody, malty and fruity notes, the latter including banana and citrus, plus hints of caramel and cloves. Texture has above-average body and a good amount of tingle. Catch this hare while you can!
