OUR 1ST INSTALLMENT IN OUR "BLACK EYE" SERIES, THIS BEER WILL SHOWCASE UNUSUAL INGREDIENTS AND TECHNIQUES, ALONG WITH OUR PASSION FOR CREATIVITY. WE STARTED OUT WITH A DOUBLE INDIA PALE ALE, USED RYE AS AN INGREDIENT IN THE MASH, AND ADDED A CRAZY AMOUNT OF HOPS FOR BITTERING, ALONG WITH PILONCILLO SUGAR ...NEXT WE'LL TRIPLE DRY HOP IT, FOR MORE FUN....PROVIDING THE DRINKER WITH A LUSCIOUS HOP EXPERIENCE. NOW THIS BEER IS NOT YOUR ORDINARY PINT OF BEER, AS THE ALCOHOL WILL COME IN AT OVER 8.0%. WE'LL BE SERVING THIS IN A SPECIAL GLASS....(READ "SMALLER") SO THAT YOU CAN SAVOR THIS TASTY ELIXIR.

On tap at the Malt house yessir! Pours a semi hazey but basically translucent orange colour with a medium sized frothy white head. Instantly piney on the nose, citrusy and noticeable earthy which is most pleasent. Red Eye is making it's way into Madtown and i'm defiantely digging that!

On tap at the Malt House. A powerful aroma of grapefruit and pine greet the nose from this hazy golden brew. The off-white head is moderate in size; mouthfeel is perhaps a bit thin for the boldness of the aroma and of the flavors that come in a rush; again grapefruit and pine with a substantial bitterness that progresses throughout the fruity finish. The rye character comes through sharp and bold alongside the extreme hops.
