20th Anniversary, Brick Mason Series #7, is an Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels. We are celebrating our milestone anniversary with a milestone beer that will be the strongest beer in brewery’s history. Rich chocolate and roasted flavors are balanced by sweet caramel malts. Bourbon barrels provide big bourbon notes supported by flavors of oak and vanilla. This beer commemorates Red Brick Brewing Company’s 20 year brewing tradition. And while we’re focused on the future, we’ll never forget our humble beginnings.

Beer Eleven of my Twelve Beers of Christmas. Near-black brown pour, medium tight tan head, nice lacing. Rich deep toasted malts, vanilla, some chocolates in the initial nose and flavor, very slight dark honey, hint of oak and bourbon, more vanilla and chocolate and goodness. Velvety smooth, rich, creamy and decadent, completely satisfying; by FAR the best beer Red Brick brews.

A deep black colored beer with a three fingered deep brown, frothy head rising above. There's decent hang time on the head. It settles into a thick ringlet. Rich bourbon and chocolate in the nose. That same appears in the tasting with some burntness and caramel. Full bodied, alcohol bite. Rich smoothness.

Comes out of the bottle a rich, warm sable with a very thick chocolaty tan head. Mouth-watering roast malt aroma has notes of bourbon, caramel and mocha. Flavor delights with notes of bourbon-soaked wood, quality mocha, caramel and smoky malt plus a subtle earthy tone and, yes, a hint of vanilla. Lip-smacking and monumentally delicious! Viscous texture is smooth and, though not too fizzy, leaves a persistent subtle tingle and smoky, bourbon and earthy notes in its wake. Bottoms up!
