100% pure malt, this noble high fermentation beer is brewed from a Belgian Trappist type yeast. Barley is mainly from the Gâtinais (French region located south of the Ile de France and north of the Center region). To refine the aromas, we balance our recipe with malts from Northern Belgium. Bell de Loing Blonde has a robust and flowery aroma, an incomparable fruity, a golden tone supported, this beer is a true tribute to the Belgian trappists.

330 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Bell de Loing stemmed tulip glass an unfiltered and opaque straw-yellow coloured BdG with a generous one finger slightly beige and soapy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. Some floating sediments. The aroma is strong yeasty, spicy, cloves, fruity, apples, grassy hops and moderate malty. The flavour is yeasty, spicy, cloves, acitidic fruits, citrus, apples. The mouthfeel is light crispy, fulled and quite thick. The texture is watery. This medium bodied BdG has a dry spicy and fruity finish. A decent and refreshing Bière de Garde from a small and interesting brewery from a region called le Gâtinais in the great south of Paris.

Bottle at Taverne St Germain, Paris. Hazy orange colour. Fruity aroma. Taste is fruity and quite bitter. Nowhere near a top biere de garde, but a pleasant drink nontheless.
