The beer pours a red tinged gold colour with a creamy tan coloured head and leaves a lot of lacing. The aroma is cereal malt, grapefruit notes, and earthy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is hop forward with grapefruit notes galore, the malt and yeast notes are in the background. There is a tart berry note in the finish that ruins what otherwise is a very good beer.
