In our second trip to Rykers, we’ve decided to change a few things, aside from wearing our soap on a rope. This round, like the last, there’s still rye and hibiscus. But we’ve added red peppercorns, a liberal dry hopping with Cascade and Amarillo, and something a little mysterious we’ve sworn not reveal (unless you bribe us). He we never said we weren’t easy!

Taps clear mahogany with a nice buff head. Aroma delivers rye, toasted malt, horehound, woody hop and subtle dark fruit notes. Flavor ramps up the hops, though rye is still the headliner, while other tones are still firm. A bit of fruity sweetness nicely balances the hop bitterness. Mouthfeel features good, smooth body and serviceable fizz. Lock one up in your tummy.
