A long time favorite during Potosi’s heyday, this is an amber, pure malt and hop brew that has a distinct malt character and a bit more assertive flavor profile which is comparable to an English pale ale. This is a medium bodied beer that is not over the top in any respect but delicious to drink during a session in the Bier Garten.

This was included in a sampler 12 pack I bought. thought I'd try sampling something from Petosi. Poured with nice white color head and had a very hoppy aroma to it. taste was underwhelming . maybe it sat in the cave too long.

Appearance wise this beer looks relatively normal. Then you smell it and you think "wet dog", not good. It really is just like a malt liquor, not one I would drink again.

Pretty dissapointed in the first offering I have had from Potosi: reminded me of a malt liquor kind of. Bright golden colour, big white head- aroma is hoppy, but taste is grainy and lifeless. Slightly grassy midpalate- overall dissapointing. Might have been the few pints of Irish Ale i had prior though, not sure.
